GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Suffolk County Historical Society is located at 300 West Main Street, Riverhead, New York. The society's telephone number is: (631) 727-2881.

Special arrangements can be made for group visits. Please call the society for further information.

The building is not handicapped accessible. There is limited parking along the curb in front of the building, and there is a municipal parking lot behind the building at the intersection of Court Street and Osborne Avenue.

Directions
From the west, take the Long Island Expressway to exit 72 and follow the signs for Riverhead. Proceed east on Rte. 25 (West Main Street) to Court Street – the society’s building is at the corner of Court Street and West Main Street.

From the North Fork, take Rte. 25 west to Riverhead. Proceed west on East Main Street, continue on West Main Street to Osborne Avenue. The society’s building is at the corner of Osborne Avenue and West Main Street.

From the South Fork take Sunrise Highway to exit 65 and proceed north on Rte. 24 to the Riverhead traffic circle. Take Peconic Avenue to West Main Street, turn left on West Main Street, and proceed to Osborne Ave. The society’s building is at the corner of Osborne Ave. and West Main Street.
